Julie from Pop Champagne is one of the most fun bloggers I know (for example, she currently hosting a Paris Hilton impersonation contest). She loves fashion, but has a sense of humor about it - the perfect combination, at least in my book. She also recently opened an online store - Glam, Sparkle and Pop - filled with accessories to complete any outfit. Please welcome Julie!

Hello, it’s Pop Champagne here. Before I talk about my style I would like to thank K @ Blog Goggles for asking me to do the guest post! I feel so honoured!

My general rule for clothing is if it looks nice on you and it’s comfy then go for it! As much as I love those sexy 4.5 inch skinny heels and they make my legs look longer than it is, I wear flats most of the days because they are so comfortable. Of course, there’s the exception of snow days and when I hooch up to go out ;) I get very discouraged to wear the same pair of shoes twice if they hurt my feet the first time.















I love bright colors and headbands. I’m the type that finds Gap boring due to their khakis and pastel colors. If I was wearing mostly black and white, I would throw in a colourful headband or hair clip to make things more interesting. I actually started making my own hair accessories at Glam, Sparkle and Pop so I can have exactly what I like.

Unlike some other fashion bloggers, I love to show my face when I post my outfits. I understand that for fashion blogs it’s mainly about clothes than the person. But hey, you can dress in the cutest outfits and have the most beautiful surroundings, but you’re not providing feedback for your audiences unless you show your face! To me, the most important expression for your outfit is your face, not the clothes.
